With my newly earned title of Packing Ninja (thank you Container Store for that) I challenge myself every week to pack less and less while not leaving behind items that I really want with me. The photos in this blog were spontaneous and taken during a recent 3 day trip. I hadn't planned on photographing it which is really better I think so you can see how I typically pack, not an edited version for a blog post.

One new thing I did try this time was not packing a 2nd pair of shoes! Yep, just using the pair I was wearing on the plane for all 3 days and guess what guys, it was risky but worked out just fine. Had I wanted a 2nd shoe option I would have left my hair dryer at home to make space, just FYI.
Since many of you comment on Instagram and Facebook wanting to know how I pack so much in such a little suitcase, I took photos throughout each phase of unpacking to help you have an idea of how it all fits in.
Here's an up close of my accessories and toiletries:
Hopefully this inspires you to pack less on your next trip - short or long. That's how I started and now frankly I make a game of it and challenge myself to consolidate each and every time my suitcase leaves my closet! Bon voyage!
